On Tuesday, a San Joaquin County medical examiner identified the motorcyclist as Stockton resident George Estrada, 70.

Stockton police said one of the injured people was a woman who was hospitalized in critical condition but was stable at last check. She and the other surviving parties, who authorities noted suffered injuries that weren't life-threatening, are all expected to recover.

It was not clear exactly how many people were involved. Stockton police said the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
