Pleasant Wednesday before Friday storms in Chicago
Clouds slowly move out Tuesday night as temperatures drop into the 30s.
Another pleasant day follows Wednesday with temperatures hovering in the 50s. Brisk winds will make it cooler in the 40s near Lake Michigan.
Enjoy Wednesday, because waves of rain and storms are expected Thursday and Friday. Thursday and Thursday night rain showers and storms are possible, but a bigger concern is storm potential for Friday.
Mainly in the evening hours Friday, the storms that flare up have the possibility of being strong to severe. Friday highs will top out in the 70s to near 80-degrees, fueling up the atmosphere for storm potential.
Of course, stay with your First Alert weather team for changes.
